SPCC ITS will be performing needed maintenance on computer and network systems in our data centers in Monroe, Polkton and Wadesboro during the Thanksgiving week break. The plan is to complete all of the work on Monday, November 24, 2014. There is a possibility that we may need additional time on Tuesday if all the planned activities are not completed on Monday.
During the maintenance work we will be shutting down servers and access to the SPCC network. There will be periods when the SPCC network will not be accessible from off or on campus. Applications such as GO!, secure, faculty/staff email, Moodle distance learning authentication, the phone system and Internet access from on-campus will not be available. Please plan any work related activities accordingly.
Users needing assistance during the Thanksgiving week break can submit a Helpdesk ticket. ITS will try to respond as soon as possible depending on the urgency of the issue. On Monday, November 24, 2014 ITS will be answering the ITS technical assistance phone at 704-272-5320 (except for those times that the SPCC phone system is not operational).
SPCC ITS staff wishes all of you a happy, safe and bountiful Thanksgiving!
